NtBackup XP Home

NT Backup is not installed by default in winxp home. It is available in the valueadd folder on the installation cd.

Unless, of course, you have an OEM install from some company that refuses to provide the value add folder on their System Restore CD... in these cases, the file name for which to google would be "ntbackup.msi". Some kind souls have made the file available for download.

Musing: NtBackup is not provided or supported in Windows Server 2008.  Further, W2K8's backup does not support network backups (WTF). I wonder if I could use iSCSI to use W2K8's backups over a LAN?
