Change Font Color for Icon Labels in Windows XP

It's surprisingly hard to figure out that to change the color of the text below the icons on the WinXP desktop, one needs to disable drop shadows.

Start --> Control Panel --> System --> Advanced --> Performance (Settings) --> uncheck "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop".

This is really handy if you have a background image for your desktop that is mostly white... e.g. a corporate logo.  The white+shadow on white is annoying, to say the least.
