• An open source PHP HTML editor for Linux.  http://quanta.sourceforge.net/
• http://www.turcksoft.com/en/e_mmc.htm - a GPL'd compiler for PHP.  you can encode and NOT distribute your PHP scripts (i.e. source!).  Encoded scripts must be run from turcksoft... still... same as phpAccelerator.
• EditPlus is a good text editor that supports PHP syntax highlighting (see related scribbles)
• A lot of questions answered for PHP - quite technical ones.
