Set MS Fax in WinXP to Dial Area Code

A link to microsoft\'s instructions on setting the built in fax to dial the local area code (e.g. \"10 digit dialing\").

The gist:

Configure the dialing rules in the modem settings of control panel.  Then make sure contacts are in the format of: 
+Country/RegionCode (AreaCode) SubscriberNumber

For example, this is the format for a subscriber in the United States of America in canonical format:
+1 (nnn) nnn-nnnn
