PackageControl (can be installed directly from current Sublime menus).

Package Control - Install package

InsertDate plugin.  

• You get prompted to configure time zone. Both times, I needed to restart Sublime and try a couple times to get the pop-up to select the timezone from a drop down select.

• Key bindings are "Ctrl+F5" and then the second keybinding. E.g. press CTRL+F5 twice to insert short ISO date.
• Colour contrast - I don't know why anyone wants to type in grey on grey. Try this colour scheme: https://packagecontrol.io/packages/OLED%20Color%20Scheme
• Origami plugin works pretty well for cloning a second view into a file faster (right click to get pop-up menu) - https://packagecontrol.io/packages/Origami
