Linux will it win?  Only time will tell.  I doubt it's going away, that's for sure.

Misc Distributions

• lxle.net - Ubuntu + LXDE aimed at low resource usage for older computers.
• mxlinux.org - aims for mid-level machines - XCFE - on Debian. Might be good, XCFE default distibution
• galliumos.org - compatible with ChromeOS devices (especially useful when they have aged out of support, apparently)
• https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/ - 32bit x86 support in 2022! A lot of other distributions have stopped x86 support. Debian mostly.
