AKA Notepad Plus Plus, NPP.

Negatives:

Could not find a quick way to insert a date, e.g. 2017-01-06, there are scripts... but couldn't get them working in a reasonable amount of time.
Multiple annoying keybindings.
Enter key eating... disable Enter on Scintilla shortcuts
