Synchronize SBS NT4 and SBS 2003 Passwords

I look after a network that ended up with an NT SBS 4.0 setup that hosts files and print, and an SBS 2003 server that hosts the databases.  Further, the network had no domain setup at the workstations when I took it over.

Nice.

This means that there are three places to change a single password. Workstation, SBS NT4, and SBS 2003. Which means nobody changes their password from the one originally assigned by the former IT guys years ago.

So, officially SBS can not have trust relationships for domains or trees.  What is a guy to do for password sync'ing?  Years ago, I played with Novell's product, Synchronicity... is that still around?  It doesn't matter.  This small shop wouldn't want me to spend the time or money on that.

Fortunately, it looks like Microsoft themselves has a password sync tool.  Identity Integration Feature Pack for Microsoft® Windows Server -- apparently, MIIS is somehow the acronymn...

There's a free version.

Update: Rats, free version is only for W2K, Exchange, and a few other more current systems.  NT4 support is in the paid version.
