Microsoft SBF SBM Chunk Files
OK, I had to install my first Small Business Financials "chunk" file today (for the new Canadian Cheque layout patch).
The instructions were wrong for my install. It speaks of copying the files to the installatoin folder -- this is exactly what you might guess, c: program files microsoft...
The trick then is to open SBF and in my case I did not get a prompt to install the chunk. But the file had disappeared.
After some research, I learned that you can look at dynamics.set to see what chunks have been installed, and dex.set to see an option to "autoinstall" updates... I suspect this was disablinmg prompts!
