I just discovered this tool that collects the admin packages for Windows updates and sticks a GUI on top to make the installation quicker: http://www.autopatcher.com/ - This should be quite useful if I ever need to start from a fresh XP install (pre-SP1 or SP2 for that matter) again... saves on bandwidth too, if you do more than one machine at a time.
