Windows Thumbnail Cache Notes

XP kept a hidden thumbs.db file in each folder that had images.

Vista and newer centralized LOCAL thumbnails to %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer.

For network shares, a thumbs.db file is still created (and shared by all users).
