Whenever the activeX controls are changed, an administrator needs to go here:
http://mlslink.mlxchange.com/ax/axinstalltool.asp
to update them for the non-admin accounts.
Update: Argh... it's 2013 and you still need to use Active X on MLXchange. On a 64 bit Windows 7 PC, I had to specifically run 32 bit IE with Administrative privileges and visit http://mlslink.mlxchange.com/ax/
Update 2: Hmm... in 2013-04 with Win7 and IE 10, it magically handles the 32bit issue itself, I think each tab runs as a 32 bit process. Anyway... still had to do the Admin priv's thing.
Update 3: the best bet might be to use the Flash dependent (which is somewhat better than being ActiveX dependent) fusion option of the website. Commercial listings: http://cls.fusionmls.com
