Round to Nearest Function Excel

A little formula to round values to the nearest 1/10, 1/4, etc.

=ROUND(H10*(1/H6),0)/(1/H6)

Where
- H10 holds the value that you are rounding.
- H6 holds the decimal equivalent of the fraction to which you wish to round.

For example, if you wanted to round $ 42.12 to the nearest dime, H10 would have 42.12; H6 would have "0.1". To round to the nearest quarter, H6 becomes ".25".

Obviously, you can adjust the formula to fit.
