Pervasive ODBC configuration has caused me some grief. Fortunately, all was cleared up in these help files:

Some particular notes:
- Accpac doesn't usually use ODBC with Pervasive. It does it's own thing to directly access the files! SO if Accpac works, it doesn't mean that your ODBC is setup properly!
- Second, to configure the databases that ODBC DSN's can be configured for, you do this in the Pervasive Control Centre
