Windows HOSTS file

All the Windows NT based OS's - i.e. NT, 2000, XP.

This gets harder to do with newer Windows, multiple security precautions to acknowledge or bypass.

Put a file called HOSTS in the "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc" folder. There should be a sample file there already. Use this to hardcode some DNS host name registrations.
